Jupiter Beach Resort
Travel by Barry Esptein
Going on
vacation to the farthest place on the ocean and
still stay in Palm Beach County, is like
entering into a private enclave of paradise.
The
Jupiter Beach Resort is at the end of
Indiantown Road and A1A smack dab in the middle
of a white sandy beach with no high-rises nearby
to obstruct the beautiful views from all three
sides of the hotel. This classy boutique
facility, with Mexican tile floors is also pet
friendly, so if your dog is under 30 pounds, you
can even take him along, for a minuscule $25/per
day fee, which includes his own bed and doggie
biscuits.
But it is the laid back relaxing atmosphere that
will make you wonder how you could still be in
Palm Beach County.
A number of stars
have also found it to be the ideal hide-a-way
from prying paparazzi. Michelle Pfeiffer stayed
here a few months ago and various sports stars,
including Michael Jordan, Larry Byrd and Dan
Marino have made it to this vacation spot. Burt
Reynolds, who had his Dinner Theatre across the
street many years ago, comes for dinner a couple
of nights a week and you are bound to run into
someone famous you know.
This intimate timeless oceanfront paradise
boasts Caribbean style comfort with everything
but the crowds, with an uncrowded beach blending
seamlessly into the casual elegant ambiance of
the graciously appointed guest rooms.
Sinclairs Ocean Grill features innovative and
distinctive dining and the casual dining at
heated poolside and oceanside comes complete
with live island sounds.
Luxurious, yet informal, this elegant hideaway
lies minutes from a cosmopolitan selection of
shopping, dining, entertainment and world class
golf courses.
Other amenities of the 153 guest room facility
including 65 suites are; private beach cabanas,
wave runners, kayaks and jet skis; lighted
tennis courts; fitness and business center with
high speed internet access in each guest room;
concierge, massage and on site transportation
services; and over 10,000 square feet of
flexible meeting space, both indoor and outdoor.
So for a quick
weekend getaway, you cant beat it!
